COURSE HIGHLIGHT: Founders’ Lecture: Advanced Technologies in Trauma Imaging

Dr. Savvas Nicolaou presents advanced topics, technologies, and techniques in trauma imaging which may impact patient care. He specifically addresses cardiac imaging, MRCP, DECT, perfusion, cinematic rendering, and CT virtual autopsy. You may rewatch the video or portions of the video as many times as necessary. At the conclusion of the course, a certificate will automatically be generated that will include the course name and users name. COURSE HIGHLIGHT: Trauma Imaging: ASER’s Maturing Role in the Trauma Community

In this lecture, Dr. O. Clark West discusses the major activities of the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (COT). He reviews the process and impact of the ACS Verification, Review, and Consultation (VRC) Program has on trauma center practice. Finally, he discusses the collegial relationship between COT and Emergency Radiology, specifically highlighting the ACR and ACR Emergency Radiology Committee.
